Non-accredited courses are available for you to learn a new skillset or build on your existing skills or knowledge and if you want to:

Individual Classes

Individual / one-on-one lessons are  also available starting from £105 for a 3 hour session per person and additional time at £35 per hour unless you would prefer to pay for another 3 hour session. If you request for the lessons to be held at your home, there will be extra 30% of the initial cost of the session and also £2 per mile for travel costs.  A non refundable deposit of £50 is required before any booking can be confirmed and the balance paid in full on the day of the training, 

Group Classes

Group of friends or family members comprising of a minimum of 3 students,  start from £90 per person for a 3 hour session. Fees must be paid before the session begins on receipt of the invoice. Beginner Level £400

Duration: 5 weeks 

Time:  10.00am - 14.00pm

  • Are health care providers and volunteers who take care of people with Afro textured hair type

What will you learn?

  • Understanding the nature of Afro hair

  • Detangling, shampoo and drying techniques

  • The importance of carrying out a client consultation before styling.

  • How to look out for hair and scalp conditions such as dandruff, dry hair breakage, traction alopecia, excessive hair shedding.

  • How to transition from chemical processed hair to natural hair.

  • Hand coordination and positioning to avoid hair breakage and help hair growth.

  • Introduction to plaits on natural hair.

  • Introduction to weaving cornrows on natural hair without extensions for styles such as didi, shuku, pattern, criss cross, zig zag.

  • Introduction to 2 strand twists and flat twists without extensions

  • Product knowledge

  • Proper hygiene to prevent cross infection between clients and sterilizing tools. 

  • Understanding the weather conditions for your hair

Intermediate Level £475

Duration: 5 weeks

Time:  10.00am - 14.00pm

Days:  Tuesdays

  • Who has previous knowledge and skills of braiding but want to take it to the next level

  • Wants to make some extra cash doing the hair of your family and friends

  • Wants to create another source of income  

  • Wants to learn build on their previous knowledge and skills of braiding 

  • Wants to career change 

What will you learn? 

  • Identifying different types of extensions with their uses, measuring and prepping extensions, mixing colours (2/3 toned and ombre).

  • Advanced hair treatments

  • Hand coordination and positioning to avoid hair breakage and help hair growth.

  • Natural hair drying techniques - air and blow drying (recap)

  • Introduction to braids and twists on natural hair with extensions - knotless, passion, senegalese twists, spring, faux locs, distressed locs, pick n drop and regular braids

  • Understanding sectioning and cutting patterns - box/squares, triangle, fishscale, diagonal, parallel. and more.

  • Introduction to twists - Senegalese, Afro kinky, Spring and Havana twists styles.

  • Introduction to braids - regular, knotless and bob with finishing techniques.

  • After care and maintenance.

  • Assessment preparation.

Advanced Level £575

Duration: 5 weeks 

Time:  10.00am - 14.00pm

Days:  Mondays

  • Aftercare and maintenance
